Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Aytek Akçakaya has been playing the guitar since 1996 and is a guitar teacher, broadcaster, recording and stage guitarist. Apart from his solo appearances, he worked for five years as the lead guitarist with Ogün Sanlısoy, the lead vocalist of the famous rock band Pentagram, recording two albums with them. He performed in many concerts, festivals, music videos, concerts and TV programs during this period.
With his lyrics and arrangements for the Turkish metal band Fallen, they won the Headbang Magazine contest and performed at the opening show of a festival headlined by Manowar.
He is currently performing with Cemil Demirbakan, one of the founding members of the famous Turkish rock band Yüksek Sadakat, with the band TAŞ, which he cofounded; he has reunited with Kramp, one of the most important Turkish hard rock bands of the 80s, with a new team with his guitar; and he continues to reinterpret his favorite 80s rock music on stage with The Nameless Band.
He launched the Guitar Coach (Gitar Koçu) project in 2012, which is the official YouTube channel in Turkey that presents guitars and guitar equipment in a serious and professional manner and has been very active since its inception. It provides comprehensive product reviews and has a significant impact on consumers, helping them to make informed purchasing decisions.
His music career continues in two ways: performing on stage with his guitar and creating content as a guitar influencer on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, showcasing music equipment to an audience.
