Norizwan Shazren, widely known as Wan Miaw, was raised in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. He began playing guitar at the age of eleven and has continued to refine his craft ever since. He is currently the lead guitarist of Modread, a band acclaimed for its progressive rock and metal sound.
Wan Miaw draws inspiration from guitar legends such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert, Marty Friedman, Harry Khalifah, and many others. Throughout his career, he has also served as a session guitarist for prominent Malaysian artists including Black Hanifah, Tomok, Hazama, and several others.
He is officially endorsed by NUX Malaysia and is recognized for his powerful and expressive playing style. Wan Miaw frequently features the NUX MG-30 and B-8 wireless system as part of his signature setup in live performances.
